TNT Alerts

Introduction

We are pleased to announce the official launch of our Truth not Tyranny campaign. The campaign will be known as ‘TNT’ for short, as it aims to drop a series of metaphorical ‘high-explosive truth bombs’, delivered via social media and email in the form of ‘TNT Alerts’ on various important topics. The campaign is run by the Hardwick Alliance for Real Ecology, constituted as a ‘network of networks’, which is being extended progressively through new affiliations with other campaign groups and influencers. The intention is that these TNT Alerts will be actively and swiftly shared by our supporters throughout their own networks, creating a waterfall effect that rapidly cascades outwards beyond our ‘awake-and-aware echo chamber’, thus reaching a vastly wider audience than previously possible. To be effective, speedy propagation is essential to ensure that each Alert is widely shared before the censorship algorithms have a chance to kick in, and this is where we are asking supporters to ‘step up to the plate’.

Alert Structure

Each TNT Alert has a standard structure:

You can participate in the Truth Not Tyranny campaign by doing the following:

Additional Actions to Take

Each TNT Alert describes a particular issue, and suggests actions you can take to address that particular issue. In many cases the following additional actions can also be taken:

  1. Share the alert via email, social media, networks, etc.
  2. Conduct your own research
  3. Tell your friends, relatives, neighbours and work colleagues
  4. Hold an awareness-raising public engagement event in your local town centre
  5. Write to and educate your local councillors, MP, doctors, teachers, etc.
  6. Write to newspapers and comment on articles therein
  7. Phone into local and national radio and TV programmes
  8. Complain to ombudsmen or regulatory bodies
  9. Make a freedom of information access request
  10. Make a subject access request

We thank you in advance for your participation—the more you are able to do, the more successful the campaign is likely to be!
